I thank you with all of my heart
For sharing this journey called life
I’ll be forever grateful
For the privilege of being your wife
Thankful to have held your hand
To have loved you throughout the years
Amidst life’s joys and challenges
In times of happiness and tears
Cherishing the life we built together
To have created a family
For our love, and that of our children
Alt. Verse: For our love, and the love of our son
Alt. Verse: For our love, and the love of our daughter
Means everything to me
I can hardly accept you’ve been taken away
I can hardly bear the thought
Of facing the future without you here
I’m still not sure how I’ll get through this loss
Yet I’m comforted by the sweet memories you left
It helps me and our children as we grieve
Alt. Verse: This helps me and (list your son's name) as we grieve
Alt. Verse: This helps me and (list your daughter's name) as we grieve
Drawing strength from the time that we shared
Your legacy of love, of laughter and peace
And so…I thank you, Dearest Husband
For all you’ve meant to my life
I’m deeply grateful that we found each other
And for the gift of being your wife
