Author's Note
It is my sincere hope that this website will be a source of funeral poems and memorial tributes that will honor your loved one and comfort you, even as you grieve.
A few years ago I went through the experience of losing several loved ones. Their deaths happened at different times, but close enough to keep me grieving for an extended period of time. Although I love poetry, I hadn't written anything in years. Suddenly, I found it pouring out of me. As friends read some of the poetry, they requested certain poems for their own losses and personal experiences. Over time, the process of working through my own grief and helping others work through their grieving processes created enough writings and tributes to place inside a book and upon this website.
